Pumpkin Bread | Recipe

One of my all time favorite fall desserts / snacks has to be the pumpkin bread my mom always makes. I know Thanksgiving is days away, and I think this is a perfect treat for anyone who enjoys pumpkin. As soon as October, I immediately start to crave this sweet treat and I know once you try it you will be hooked as well. It is perfect for the fall and winter time.

1 can of pumpkin puree
1 cup of brown sugar
½ cup vegetable oil
½ cup water
2 eggs
1 tsp of salt
¼ tsp nutmeg
1 tsp cinnamon
1 and ¾ cup of flour
1 tsp of baking soda
½ tsp of baking powder
1 and ½ tsp pumpkin pie spice
First Step.
The first thing you want to do is mix all of your wet ingredients together by using a mixer, excluding the eggs. Do so until the mixture is smooth and thick. Afterwards, beat the eggs and add them to the mixture. Use the mixer to blend all of the ingredients together.

Second Step.
The next thing you want to do is add all of the dry ingredients to a separate bowl. Mix them together. Then, and the dry ingredients to the bowl with the wet ingredients. Mix thoroughly by using the mixer once again.

Third Step.
Pre heat the oven at 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Put the mixture into bread pans, and then put the pans, or one big pan, into the oven for 30-45 minutes, make sure to monitor it. You can test to see if the bread is finished by sticking a tooth pick in it and seeing if any particles of the bread stick to it.

Fourth Step.
The final step is to wrap the bread, once it reaches room temperature. You can use either foil or saran wrap to do this. This will allow the bread to keep its shape after it completes cooling down.
