2018 Book Wrap Up

I cannot believe it is already 2019. I know, you probably have heard that a million times by now, but time is moving way too quickly. I am now a junior in college and I still feel as if this is supposed to be my freshman year. 2020, my graduation year, always felt so far away. And now it is so close. I mean, at  this time next year we will be in 2020. Crazy. Anyway, let’s talk about 2018 because it was a pretty good year. I officially read 15 books this year, and yes, I know, that is not an impressive number compared to others. But, if you saw how packed my schedule is and knew I still made all A’s, you would understand why I am pretty proud of that number. I also started my book Instagram (shamelessly promoting @pagingremington on Instagram) this year, and I found a group of authors I adore. I also fell in love with Marissa Meyer’s writing style, and I have been slowly starting to write again because she inspires me (I love writing and want to be a writer but I haven’t written anything since I started college, until now). But my favorite book I read this year was probably Approximately, Alex by Jenn Bennett. That 15 number is really 20 if you count how many times I reread Approximately, Alex.

It was a really good year and I cannot wait to see what 2019 has in store for me! I also cannot wait until I get to read some more in 2019, but I might be even busier. We shall see if my book amount, 15 books this year, goes up or down.
